THE INSPECTION REPORT

Classic Home Inspection provides a comprehensive written report that points out any apparent major deficiencies, addresses major expenditures that a buyer may encounter during the initial years of owning a home, and will suggest helpful maintenance tips to upgrade and maintain the property.

Classic Home Inspection will provide an ON-SITE report on the following major components of a home:

EXTERIOR COMPONENTS

Landscaping - its effects on the foundation
Gutters, Downspouts - General condition, effects of dampness in basement and its ability to carry off rainwater.
Siding, trim, exterior windoes and storms - General condition of each.
Roof - Evidence of water penetration and condition of shingles.
Chimney, flashings, valleys - Type of material and general condition.
Driveways, patios, decks - General condition of each.
A/C Compressor

INTERIOR COMPONENTS

Attic - Visible roof sheathing, ventilation, insulation and framing.
Plumbing - All visible fixtures, pipes and drains are tested for operation.
Electrical - Outside entrance wiring, service panel and visible wiring are inspected. Random testing of outlets is performed.
Heating System - Visible portion of heating plant and components.
Walls, floors, ceilings - General condition.
Basements - Foundation soundness and evidence of moisture penetration.
Major Appliances - General condition.
